A trendy layered dessert featuring toasted kunafa, creamy pistachio filling, and a smooth chocolate shell. Crunchy, nutty, and irresistibly rich.

Ingredients

  • 400 grams milk chocolate, chopped
  • 150 grams kunafa dough, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons (45 grams) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (250 grams) pistachio cream
  • 1/4 cup (30 grams) crushed pistachios

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a pan and toast shredded kunafa until golden and crisp.
  3. Melt half of the chocolate until smooth.
  4. Pour melted chocolate into the pan and spread evenly. Let set slightly.
  5. Spread pistachio cream over the chocolate layer.
  6. Top with toasted kunafa and press gently.
  7. Melt remaining chocolate and pour over to cover completely.
  8. Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top and chill for at least 1 hour.
  9. Lift from pan and slice into bars.

Notes

  • Toast kunafa slowly to prevent burning.
  • Chill fully before slicing for clean edges.
  • Use high quality chocolate for best flavor.
