A quick and easy naan pizza topped with tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, bell peppers, red onion, black olives, and fresh basil, baked until golden and bubbly.

Ingredients

  • 2 naan breads, about 8 inches each
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix tomato sauce with salt and black pepper.
  3. Place naan breads on the baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  4. Spread sauce evenly over each naan, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly on top.
  6. Add sliced bell peppers, red onion, and black olives over the cheese.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  8. Remove from oven and top with fresh basil leaves.
  9. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overload with sauce to keep the crust crisp.
  • Slice vegetables thin for even cooking.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven to restore crispness.
