Fluffy long grain rice cooked in one pan with butter and fresh garlic, creating a rich, aromatic side dish that pairs with almost any meal.

  • 1 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté garlic for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add rinsed rice and stir to coat with butter and garlic.
  3. Pour in chicken broth, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15 to 18 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  5. Remove from heat and let rest covered for 5 minutes.
  6. Fluff with a fork and stir in parsley before serving.

Notes
