  • 2 cups cold water (about 480 ml)
  • 1 medium fresh orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium fresh lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (about 75 grams)
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan.
  2. Place 2 herbal tea bags into a heatproof pitcher and pour the boiling water over them.
  3. Allow the tea to steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bags from the pitcher.
  5. Add 2 cups cold water to the brewed tea and stir gently.
  6. Stir in the thinly sliced orange, thinly sliced lemon, 1/2 cup mixed berries, and 10 fresh mint leaves.

  8. Fill serving glasses with 2 cups ice cubes divided evenly.
  9. Pour the chilled infusion over the ice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not over steep the tea to avoid bitterness.
  • Use fresh fruit for the brightest flavor.
  • Chill longer for a stronger infusion.
  • Add ice only when serving to prevent dilution.
