A warm wrap filled with golden grilled halloumi, crisp fresh vegetables, and a drizzle of sweet and spicy hot honey, toasted to perfection for a handheld flavor-packed meal.

Ingredients

  • 250 grams halloumi cheese, sliced ½ cm thick
  • 4 large tortillas
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
  • ½ medium cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Slice halloumi, tomato, and cucumber evenly.
  3. Brush halloumi with olive oil and grill each side for 2–3 minutes until golden.
  4. Lay a tortilla flat, place lettuce, grilled halloumi, tomato, cucumber, and sprinkle red pepper flakes. Drizzle honey over the filling.
  5. Fold the tortilla tightly over the filling and press lightly in the pan for 1–2 minutes to warm through and seal edges.
  6. Slice in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use medium heat to avoid burning halloumi.
  • Add honey just before serving to prevent soggy wraps.
  • Slice vegetables uniformly for even layering.
  • Press wrap lightly while cooking for even warming.
