Crisp toasted baguette slices topped with smooth cream cheese and drizzled with golden honey. These honey and cream cheese crostini are sweet, creamy, and perfectly balanced, making them an easy yet elegant appetizer for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch rounds
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Brush one side of each baguette slice lightly with olive oil.
  3. Arrange slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. Toast for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and crisp around the edges. Remove and let cool slightly.
  5. Spread a generous layer of softened cream cheese over each toasted slice.
  6. Drizzle honey evenly over the cream cheese.
  7. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves on top if using and serve immediately.
