  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, finely packed
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add unsweetened almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, frozen banana, fresh spinach, fresh mint leaves, unsweetened cocoa powder, and honey if using into a high speed blender.
  2. Secure the lid and blend on high speed for about 60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the ice cubes and blend again until thick and frosty.
  4. Stir in the dark chocolate chips or pulse briefly to create small chocolate flecks throughout the smoothie.
  5. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately while cold and refreshing.
