Crispy roasted broccoli tossed with garlic and finished with freshly grated parmesan for a simple yet flavorful side dish that is ready in 30 minutes.
- 1 1/2 pounds broccoli florets, cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast for 18 to 20 minutes until edges are golden and slightly crispy.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the broccoli during the last 3 to 5 minutes of roasting.
- Remove from oven and serve warm.
