Soft and fluffy milk bread rolls shaped like a blooming flower, perfect for breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon milk for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F or 175°C.
  2. Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5 to 10 minutes until foamy.
  3. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Mix to form dough.
  4. Knead for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth. Let rise 1 hour until doubled.
  5. Divide into equal balls and arrange in a flower shape in a greased round pan.
  6. Let rise again for 30 minutes. Brush with milk.
  7. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until golden. Brush with melted butter after baking.
