A homemade dupe of chocolate soup dumplings with a tender wrapper and molten chocolate ganache center.
- 20 round dumpling wrappers
- 150 grams dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting
- Set up steamer with water and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Heat heavy cream until warm and pour over chopped chocolate and butter. Stir until smooth and mix in sugar.
- Chill ganache until firm enough to scoop.
- Line steamer basket with parchment paper.
- Spoon a small portion of chilled ganache into each wrapper and pleat tightly to seal.
- Steam for about 8 minutes until wrappers are tender and filling is warm.
- Dust lightly with powdered sugar and serve immediately.

- Chill filling well before wrapping
- Seal dumplings tightly to prevent leaking
- Steam gently, not at a rolling boil
