Light and airy cloud bread protein snack made with whipped egg whites, cream cheese, and protein powder for a soft, fluffy bite that melts in your mouth while keeping it high in protein and low in calories.

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 60 grams cream cheese, softened
  • 30 grams protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or zero calorie sweetener
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix egg yolks, cream cheese, protein powder, baking powder, sweetener, and salt until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites, keeping as much air as possible.
  5. Spoon mixture into small rounds on the baking tray.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly golden and set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving for best texture.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the egg whites to keep the airy texture.
  • Fold gently to avoid deflating the batter.
