A bright and creamy cilantro lime sauce made with fresh herbs, sour cream, and lime juice, perfect for drizzling over tacos, grilled meats, bowls, and roasted vegetables.

  • 1 cup packed fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Ensure your blender or food processor is clean and ready to use.
  2. Add fresh cilantro, sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh lime juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper into the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  4. Check the consistency and add a small splash of water if a thinner sauce is desired, then blend again briefly.
  5. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice if needed.
  6. Transfer the sauce into a jar or airtight container.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
