Crunchy cornflakes coated in smooth melted semi sweet chocolate and lightly salted, formed into easy no bake clusters that set into the perfect sweet and crispy snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cornflakes cereal
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips (about 340 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place the semi sweet chocolate chips and butter in a heatproof bowl.
  3. Melt the chocolate mixture in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and fully melted.
  4. Add the cornflakes cereal and salt to the melted chocolate.
  5. Gently fold the mixture until the cornflakes are evenly coated, being careful not to crush them.
  6. Spoon small clusters onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Let the clusters set at room temperature for about 1 hour or refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm.
  8. Serve once fully set and store any leftovers in an airtight container.
