Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 cups Cheetos, finely crushed
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  2. In one bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the beaten eggs in a second bowl and the crushed Cheetos in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, coating evenly.
  5. Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Coat thoroughly in the crushed Cheetos, pressing gently to help the crust adhere.
  7. Arrange the coated chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  8. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is crispy.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Press the crushed coating firmly onto the chicken for better adhesion.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan to maintain crispiness.
  • Flip halfway through baking for even browning.
