Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together harissa paste, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the chicken thighs and coat thoroughly with the marinade. Marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Place the marinated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 16 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Remove the chicken and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve warm with your preferred sides.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper doneness.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for best texture.
