This warm vanilla almond milk is a cozy, dairy-free drink made with almond milk, vanilla extract, and a touch of sweetness. It’s the perfect bedtime beverage or calming treat for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: crushed almonds or cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Pour in the almond milk, vanilla extract, sweetener, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Whisk gently to combine ingredients.
  4. Warm the mixture until it is steaming but not boiling, about 5–7 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it rest for 1–2 minutes to deepen the flavors.
  6. Pour into mugs and garnish with crushed almonds or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use barista-style almond milk for extra creaminess.
  • Do not let the milk boil to maintain a silky texture.
  • Add a cinnamon stick or vanilla pod for a decorative touch.
