A creamy, comforting drink made with oats, milk, cinnamon, and a hint of sweetness. This warm oat cinnamon drink is perfect for cozy mornings or winding down at night.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend rolled oats and water until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag to remove pulp.
  3. In a saucepan, combine the strained liquid with milk, cinnamon stick, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Heat over medium-low, whisking gently, for 5–7 minutes until hot and fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat, discard the cinnamon stick, and stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract if using.
  6. Pour into mugs, sprinkle cinnamon on top, and serve warm.
