Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk (any variety)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill your glass in the freezer for 5 to 10 minutes, if desired.
  2. In a jar or mixing glass, combine the milk, vanilla extract, and chosen sweetener. Stir or shake until fully blended and slightly frothy.
  3. Fill your glass halfway with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the vanilla milk mixture over the ice.
  5. Optional: Add a pinch of sea salt or a vanilla bean garnish.
  6. Stir gently and serve with a straw.

Notes

  • Use crushed ice for a slushier texture.
  • Add a splash of cold brew coffee for a vanilla latte twist.
  • Mix in cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth.
  • Store the vanilla milk mixture in the fridge for up to 3 days without ice.
