Melt-in-your-mouth beef bites slow-cooked in a rich, buttery garlic herb sauce—an effortless, comforting dish perfect for cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • Beef Sirloin or Chuck Roast: 2 pounds, cut into 1-inch cubes – The base of the dish, rich and satisfying.
  • Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons – For searing and building flavor.
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced – Adds a deep aromatic kick.
  • Beef Broth: 1/2 cup – Helps tenderize and infuse the meat with umami.
  • Worcestershire Sauce: 2 tablespoons – Boosts savory richness.
  • Soy Sauce (low sodium): 1 tablespoon – Enhances depth and balance.
  • Butter: 3 tablespoons – Finishes the dish with silky richness.
  • Italian Seasoning: 1 teaspoon – For herby, earthy background notes.
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon – Essential seasoning to bring everything together.
  • Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon – Adds gentle heat and bite.
  • Fresh Parsley: For garnish – Brightens the finished dish with freshness.

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Heat your skillet over medium-high heat and get your slow cooker ready.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Season steak bites with salt and pepper. In the skillet, heat olive oil and sear beef in batches until browned on all sides. Transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Once all beef is seared, pour beef broth into the skillet and scrape up the browned bits. Add in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, and butter. Stir to melt and combine.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Pour the skillet mixture over the steak bites in the crockpot. Stir gently to coat.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or until the beef is fork-tender.
  6. Finishing Touches: Stir the beef gently, taste for seasoning, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up that luscious sauce.

Notes

  • Sear in batches to avoid overcrowding and steaming the meat.
  • Use low heat for the best tenderness.
  • Deglaze the skillet to keep all the flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months.
