These Super Moist Baked Tiramisu Donuts bring together the best of both worlds: the soft, fluffy texture of baked donuts and the classic flavors of tiramisu. Espresso, mascarpone, and cocoa create an indulgent treat perfect for brunch or dessert.

Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour: 1 ½ cups (190 g)
  • Granulated Sugar: ½ cup (100 g)
  • Baking Powder: 1 ½ teaspoons
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon
  • Eggs: 2 large, room temperature
  • Whole Milk: ½ cup (120 ml)
  • Vegetable Oil: ¼ cup (60 ml)
  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Espresso or Strong Coffee: ½ cup (120 ml), cooled
  • Mascarpone Cheese: 1 cup (225 g)
  • Powdered Sugar: ½ cup (60 g)
  • Heavy Cream: 2 tablespoons
  • Cocoa Powder: For dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, and espresso.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Spoon batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Bake 12–15 minutes until donuts spring back when touched.
  6. Finishing Touches: Beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, and cream until smooth. Spread or pipe onto cooled donuts.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Dust with cocoa powder and serve with coffee.
