A refreshing layered latte made with strawberry milk ice cubes that melt into creamy milk and bold coffee.
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup milk, divided
- 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
- Ice, optional
- Brew coffee and allow it to cool completely.
- Blend strawberries with 1/2 cup milk and honey until smooth.
- Pour the strawberry milk mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze for at least 3 hours until solid.
- Add strawberry milk ice cubes to a tall glass.
- Pour remaining 1/2 cup milk over the cubes.
- Slowly pour cooled coffee on top to create layers.
- Stir gently if desired and serve immediately.
