A refreshing layered latte made with strawberry milk ice cubes that melt into creamy milk and bold coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup milk, divided
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
  • Ice, optional

Instructions

  1. Brew coffee and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Blend strawberries with 1/2 cup milk and honey until smooth.
  3. Pour the strawberry milk mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze for at least 3 hours until solid.
  4. Add strawberry milk ice cubes to a tall glass.
  5. Pour remaining 1/2 cup milk over the cubes.
  6. Slowly pour cooled coffee on top to create layers.
  7. Stir gently if desired and serve immediately.
