Golden, flaky Spinach and Feta Pinwheels filled with creamy cheese and garlicky spinach. These easy-to-make spirals are perfect for brunch, snacking, or party platters.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
  • 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and spinach and sauté until wilted, about 2–3 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix sautéed spinach with feta and cream cheese until well combined.
  4. Unroll puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and spread half the spinach mixture evenly over each sheet.
  5. Roll tightly from the short end to form a log. Chill the logs for 10–15 minutes to firm up.
  6. Slice into ½-inch rounds and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use a serrated knife to cut cleaner slices.
  • Chill before slicing to help maintain shape.
  • Customize with herbs, sun-dried tomatoes, or chopped olives.
