Soft and comforting skillet flatbread made with mashed potatoes and simple pantry ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Mix flour and salt in a bowl, then add mashed potatoes and warm water.
  3. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  4. Divide dough into balls and flatten into rounds.
  5. Lightly oil the skillet and cook each flatbread for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove when golden and serve warm.
