Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (16.3 ounces each) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (110 grams) light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, light brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Toss the biscuit pieces in the cinnamon sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Lightly grease a cast iron skillet and arrange the coated dough pieces evenly inside.
  6. Stir melted butter with vanilla extract and pour evenly over the dough pieces.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and cooked through in the center.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Place a baking sheet under the skillet to catch any bubbling sugar.
  • Do not overbake to keep the center soft and gooey.
  • Serve warm for the best pull apart texture.
