A rustic, hearty flatbread made with millet flour, lightly seasoned and pan-cooked until tender with a golden surface. Simple, nourishing, and perfect as a side or wrap.

Ingredients

  • Millet flour: 1 cup
  • Warm water: 3/4 cup
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried mixed herbs: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine millet flour, salt, garlic powder, and dried herbs.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, then mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly brush with oil.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and press each into a flat round.
  5. Place the dough into the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side until lightly golden.
  6. Remove from heat and cover with a clean towel to keep warm.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use warm water to help hydrate the millet flour evenly.
  • If the dough feels dry, add water a tablespoon at a time.
  • Keep cooked flatbreads covered to maintain softness.
