Creamy pumpkin date oats made with rolled oats, milk, pumpkin puree, and naturally sweet chopped dates. A cozy, nourishing breakfast ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup chopped dates
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add rolled oats, milk, salt, and cinnamon to the saucepan and stir to combine.
  3. Heat the mixture, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  4. After about 5 minutes, stir in pumpkin puree, chopped dates, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  5. Continue cooking for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently, until creamy and tender.
  6. Let sit for 1 minute to thicken slightly.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.
