Golden oven-baked potato wedges with crispy edges and fluffy centers, seasoned simply and roasted until perfectly tender and satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 4 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the potato wedges in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.
  4. Toss well until all wedges are evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the wedges cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the wedges.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Bake an additional 5 minutes if extra crispness is desired.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, dry the potatoes thoroughly before seasoning.
  • Do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
