This refreshing mango iced tea combines sweet ripe mangoes with bold black tea and a splash of citrus for the ultimate summer sip. It’s quick to make, budget-friendly, and totally crowd-pleasing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups water
  • 23 black tea bags
  • 1 ½ cups fresh mango or mango puree
  • 24 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Add tea bags and steep for 5–7 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar while the tea is still warm.
  2. In a blender, puree the mango until smooth. Add a few tablespoons of the tea if needed to blend easily.
  3. Combine the mango puree with the brewed tea. Stir in lemon juice and taste to adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve over ice in tall glasses. Garnish with mint leaves or mango slices if desired.

Notes

  • Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor and natural sweetness.
  • Strain the mango puree if you prefer a smoother texture.
  • Add a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
