  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato (sliced)
  • 4 sandwich buns or bread slices

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Lightly toast the sandwich buns if desired for extra texture.
  3. Place a lettuce leaf on each bun bottom, add a generous scoop of chicken salad, and top with a tomato slice.
  4. Close the sandwich with the top bun and press gently. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
