A savory-sweet fusion treat featuring soft brioche buns filled with creamy cheese and coated in garlic butter—crispy on the outside, gooey in the center, and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

  • Soft Bread Rolls: 6 large brioche buns
  • Cream Cheese: 250 grams (about 1 cup), softened
  • Sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Heavy Cream: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg: 1 large
  • Unsalted Butter: 100 grams (about 7 tablespoons), melted
  • Garlic: 6 cloves, finely minced
  • Dried Parsley: 1 teaspoon
  • Mozzarella Cheese (optional): 1/2 cup shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Mix cream cheese, sugar, heavy cream, and salt until smooth. Transfer to piping bag. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, egg, and parsley.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Arrange buns on tray with space between each.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Slice each bun into six wedges without cutting through. Pipe cream cheese into center and between cuts. Brush all over with garlic butter.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Finishing Touches: Sprinkle with parsley and cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm or reheat in air fryer next day.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth mixing.
  • Score buns deeply so fillings soak through.
  • Double the garlic butter for extra flavor punch.
  • Let buns rest after baking for better texture.
