A bright and refreshing summer drink made with ripe peaches and fresh lemon juice, lightly sweetened and served over ice for a crisp and fruity lemonade that cools you down instantly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 56 lemons)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes, as needed for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the sliced peaches and 1 cup of the cold water to a blender, then blend until completely smooth.
  2. Pour the peach puree through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing gently to extract as much juice as possible.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, and remaining 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher.
  4. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
  5. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve over ice in tall glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Use fully ripe peaches for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
  • Adjust the sugar or lemon juice to taste after chilling.
  • For a smoother texture, strain the peach puree a second time.
