Iced Lemon Mint Tea

A refreshing and cooling iced tea made with fresh lemon juice and aromatic mint, perfect for warm days and light moments of relaxation.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves, loosely packed
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or sugar
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add the black tea bags and fresh mint leaves, then remove from heat.
  3. Let the tea steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into a heatproof pitcher to remove mint leaves and tea bags.
  5. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and honey or sugar until fully dissolved.
  6. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to taste before chilling.
  • For stronger mint flavor, gently bruise the mint leaves before steeping.
  • Always use fresh lemon juice for best results.
