Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 cups BBQ potato chips, crushed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Place flour in one bowl, eggs in another, and crushed BBQ chips in a third.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Set up dredging station: flour → egg → chips.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Coat chicken pieces in flour, dip in egg, then press into BBQ chips until coated.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Arrange on baking sheet or air fryer basket. Bake 18–20 minutes or air fry 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  6. Finishing Touches: Let nuggets rest 2 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot with ranch, BBQ sauce, or honey mustard.

Notes

  • Crush chips finely but keep small crunchy bits for texture.
  • Use chicken thighs for juicier nuggets.
  • Spray lightly with oil before baking for extra crunch.
  • Store leftovers in fridge for 3 days or freeze for 2 months.
