Soft, chewy, and loaded with fresh herbs, this quick herb flatbread is the perfect companion to dips, soups, or grilled dishes. Easy to make and even easier to love.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Stir in warm water and olive oil until a dough forms.
  3. Knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide into 6 balls. Roll each into 1/4-inch thick circles. Press in chopped herbs.
  5. Cook each flatbread in the hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and puffed.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle extra herbs if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use warm water to activate yeast properly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container or freeze for later use.
  • Customize with your favorite herbs or spices.
