A smooth and refreshing tropical drink made with ripe guavas, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness, blended and strained for a silky finish. Perfect for warm days or anytime you crave a naturally fruity refresher.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium ripe guavas, about 500 grams, washed and roughly chopped
  • 2 cups cold water, 480 milliliters
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4 to 6 fresh mint leaves, optional garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the chopped guavas and cold water into a blender and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Place a fine mesh strainer over a large pitcher and pour the blended mixture through it, pressing gently to extract all the liquid while leaving the seeds behind.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar and fresh lemon juice until fully dissolved.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
  5. Fill serving glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled juice over the ice, garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fully ripe guavas for the best natural sweetness and aroma.
  • If the juice is too thick, add a little more cold water and stir well.
  • You can substitute honey for sugar if preferred.
  • Stir before serving as natural separation may occur.
