Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 white fish fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pat the fish fillets dry and place them into the hot skillet.
  4. Brush the fillets generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  5. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  6. Spoon any remaining garlic butter over the fish just before removing from heat.
  7. Serve immediately with extra parsley or lemon if desired.

Notes

  • Use fresh fish for best texture and flavor.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan to ensure even cooking.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to control spice level.
  • Allow fish to rest briefly before serving for juicier results.
