A simple and comforting pasta dish made with buttery garlic sauce, finished with grated cheese and fresh herbs. Quick to prepare, rich in flavor, and perfect for busy days or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti, 200 grams
  • Unsalted butter, 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic cloves, 4 cloves finely minced
  • Olive oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper, 0.5 teaspoon
  • Grated parmesan cheese, 40 grams
  • Fresh parsley, 2 tablespoons finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil and butter in a wide skillet over low heat until melted.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook gently until fragrant, stirring constantly.
  4. Transfer the cooked pasta directly into the skillet, reserving some pasta water.
  5. Toss the pasta with the garlic butter sauce, adding a small splash of pasta water if needed.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper, then sprinkle in the grated parmesan cheese.
  7. Finish with fresh parsley, toss once more, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use low heat when cooking garlic to avoid bitterness.
  • Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency.
  • Freshly grated cheese melts more smoothly.
