Rich, dense, and ultra chocolatey fudge brownies with a moist center and slightly crackly top, perfect for satisfying any chocolate craving.

  • 170 g unsalted butter
  • 200 g granulated sugar
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 75 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 95 g all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C and line an 8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and pour it into a mixing bowl, then whisk in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until the mixture looks glossy and slightly thick.
  4. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt, then gently fold until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top evenly.
  6. Bake for 22 to 26 minutes, until the edges are set and the center remains slightly soft.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before slicing and serving.
