A creamy and naturally sweet fig milk drink made with ripe fresh figs, chilled milk, a touch of honey, and vanilla. Smooth, refreshing, and perfect as a quick breakfast or light dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 medium fresh figs (about 300 grams), washed and stems removed
  • 2 cups (480 ml) whole milk, chilled
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (15 to 30 grams) honey or sugar, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 4 to 6 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash the fresh figs, remove the stems, and roughly chop them.
  2. Add the chopped figs, chilled whole milk, honey or sugar, vanilla extract, and ice cubes into a blender.
  3. Blend on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, then blend briefly again.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fully ripe figs for maximum natural sweetness and flavor.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the drink before serving.
  • For a dairy free version, substitute whole milk with almond milk or oat milk.
  • Serve well chilled for the most refreshing experience.
