Cool, creamy, and naturally sweet, this Date Iced Milk is the perfect refreshing drink for warm days. Medjool dates blended into chilled milk create a velvety texture with just the right hint of caramel flavor.

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 cups cold milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup water (optional, for soaking dates)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. If dates are firm, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes to soften.
  2. In a blender, combine the pitted dates and cold milk. Add cinnamon and vanilla if using.
  3. Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  4. Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother texture, if desired.
  5. Pour the blended milk over ice in a tall glass.
  6. Garnish with cinnamon or a whole date if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy.
