A rich and comforting pasta dish made with tender shell pasta, seasoned ground beef, creamy tomato sauce, and melted cheddar cheese. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces medium pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta shells until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream and mix well.
  6. Stir in cooked pasta and mix until coated.
  7. Remove from heat and fold in shredded cheddar until melted.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Cook pasta just until al dente
  • Simmer sauce gently after adding cream
  • Add a splash of milk when reheating if needed
