Crispy homemade corn oat crackers with a lightly nutty flavor and golden crunch, perfect for dipping, snacking, or pairing with cheese.

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup rolled oats, finely ground
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, finely ground oats, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add olive oil and gradually pour in warm water, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes and transfer to the baking sheet. Prick each cracker with a fork.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers are firm.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving to ensure crisp texture.
