A magical butterfly pea flower lemonade that transforms from deep blue to vibrant pink with fresh lemon juice, naturally refreshing and visually stunning.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dried butterfly pea flowers or 1 tea bag
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup
  • 1 cup cold water or ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of water until hot but not boiling.
  2. Steep butterfly pea flowers in the hot water for 5 minutes until deep blue, then strain if needed.
  3. Stir in honey or simple syrup while warm.
  4. Fill a clear glass with ice and pour the blue tea over it.
  5. Slowly add fresh lemon juice and watch the color change.
  6. Stir gently and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor and color change.
  • Steep longer for a deeper blue base.
  • Add lemon just before serving for maximum visual effect.
