Soft, naturally sweet Medjool dates filled with rich melted dark chocolate and finished with a touch of flaky sea salt. These no-bake Chocolate Stuffed Dates Melt Bites are simple, indulgent, and perfect for a quick dessert or elegant snack.

Ingredients

  • 12 large Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a small tray or plate with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Slice each Medjool date lengthwise and remove the pit if not already pitted.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil.
  4. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  5. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into the center of each date.
  6. Place the filled dates on the prepared tray.
  7. Sprinkle a small pinch of flaky sea salt over each stuffed date.
  8. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes until slightly firm.
  9. Serve and enjoy at room temperature or slightly chilled for a firmer bite.
