Chocolate Oreo Hand Pies are a flaky, golden pastry filled with crushed Oreos, creamy chocolate, and a hint of cream cheese for the ultimate handheld dessert.

  • 2 sheets pie crust dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 10 Oreos, crushed
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream
  • Optional: powdered sugar or melted chocolate for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Mix crushed Oreos, chocolate chips, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Roll out pie crust and cut into circles using a cutter or glass.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Place filling in center of each circle, cover with another circle, and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Brush with egg wash and bake 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Finishing Touches: Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with milk, coffee, or ice cream.

Notes

  • Chill assembled pies for 10 minutes before baking to help them hold shape.
