Ingredients

Scale
  • 113 g dark chocolate
  • 113 g unsalted butter
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 30 g all-purpose flour
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and generously grease four ramekins.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together until smooth and glossy.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar until fully combined.
  4. Whisk in the eggs and egg yolks until the mixture is thick and shiny.
  5. Gently fold in the flour just until incorporated.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes until the edges are set but the center is soft.
  8. Let rest for one minute, then unmold or serve directly from the ramekins.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use good-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
  • Do not overbake or the center will lose its molten texture.
  • Serve immediately for the best lava effect.
