Juicy fresh strawberries dipped in smooth semi sweet chocolate and finished with a delicate white chocolate drizzle. These elegant treats are quick to prepare, require no baking, and deliver the perfect balance of crisp chocolate shell and sweet fruit in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, about 450 grams, washed and completely dried, with green tops intact
  • 8 ounces semi sweet chocolate, about 225 grams, chopped if using a bar
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, about 115 grams, melted for drizzle
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil, about 5 milliliters, optional

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place the semi sweet chocolate and coconut oil in a heatproof bowl. Melt in the microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and glossy.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate into a slightly narrower bowl if needed for easier dipping.
  4. Hold each strawberry by the green top and dip into the melted chocolate, swirling gently to coat. Let excess chocolate drip off, then place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Allow the strawberries to sit at room temperature until the chocolate begins to set, then refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes until fully firm.
  6. Melt the white chocolate and drizzle lightly over the set strawberries using a spoon or small piping bag.
  7. Once fully set, serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to prevent the chocolate from seizing.
  • Do not overheat the chocolate, melt gently for a smooth finish.
  • Best enjoyed within 24 hours for optimal freshness and texture.
  • Let sit at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
