Ingredients

  • Day-Old Bread: 6 cups (cubed)
  • Eggs: 6 large
  • Whole Milk: 2 cups
  • Cheddar Cheese: 1½ cups (shredded)
  • Bell Pepper: 1 medium (diced)
  • Red Onion: 1 small (diced)
  • Spinach: 1 cup (roughly chopped)
  • Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
  • Olive Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper: ½ teaspoon
  • Dried Oregano: ½ teaspoon
  • Parmesan Cheese: ¼ cup (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8- or 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic in olive oil. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Cube bread and place in a bowl. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and oregano in another bowl.
