Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until just combined.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over low to medium heat.
  3. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt evenly.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and allow it to set slightly.
  5. Gently push the cooked edges toward the center so uncooked egg flows outward.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over one half of the omelet.
  7. Once the cheese begins to melt, fold the omelet in half.
  8. Slide onto a plate and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cook over gentle heat for the softest texture.
  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
  • Serve right away for the best flavor and texture.
