Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these air fryer carrot fries are a sweet and savory alternative to traditional fries. Lightly seasoned and perfectly caramelized, they make a healthy snack or easy side dish ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into even sticks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the carrot sticks with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried parsley until evenly coated.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil if needed to prevent sticking.
  4. Arrange the seasoned carrots in a single layer in the basket without overcrowding.
  5. Air fry at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until tender inside and lightly crisped on the edges.
  6. Taste and adjust salt if needed, then sprinkle with extra parsley if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while warm and crispy with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure maximum crispiness.
  • Cut carrots evenly so they cook at the same rate.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 5 minutes to restore crisp texture.
